The Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council and the Environmental Affairs Committee have selected and presented their 2012 Environmental Awards.  Through the awards, the City looks to recognize and show appreciation for those who give back to the environment, and encourage others to get involved!  The Muddy Branch Alliance was recognized for our efforts in water quality.

Many other friends and partners in the watershed were also recognized (Kentlands Go GREEN, The Izaak Walton League, Epworth Methodist, Lakelands Ridge Landscape Committee, Gaithersburg High School Ecology Club, and many others). Many thanks to the City for their leadership in bringing together this community!
