We have volunteered to use Stream Wader protocol to test the Muddy Branch, Seneca Creek and Watts Branch. The second training on February February 25th (Register by February 17th) is in preparation for this. After the training we will be planning our actual samples in March/April time frame. Those interested should sign-up here on our website. We will make sure your information gets to DNR to be included.
The training session will be held at Fairview Outdoor Education Center (Washington County). The training will begin at 9 AM and end no later than 4:00 PM. Since space can be limited, you must signup beforehand. Boots or waders (chest waders preferred) required. After the indoor training the class will either walk or drive to a nearby stream to practice collecting benthic samples.
